The door is fitted to the front-left body aperture. It attaches to the A-pillar through the hinge system and closes against the body latch/striker. The complete door assembly forms the exterior panel and structural housing for the frameless window, regulator, glass guides, handle, latch, seals, mirror, wiring, speaker and interior trim.
