The sun visor is fitted into the front roof/headlining above the driver. It pivots down to block direct sunlight and can also cover glare from the side window when positioned toward the A-pillar. Where equipped, the visor assembly also incorporates a vanity mirror and illumination circuit.

1. Switch off the vehicle and keep the visor supported during removal.
2. Move the visor to expose the hinge/pivot mounting point at the headlining.
3. Use a trim tool or small flat-head screwdriver to open the plastic mounting cover carefully.
4. Remove the mounting Torx screw(s), supporting the visor as the final fastener is removed.
5. Where fitted, release the electrical connector without pulling on the wiring.
6. Compare the replacement visor side, connector, finish, mirror/light configuration and mounting geometry with the old unit before installation.
7. Reconnect the electrical plug where fitted and secure the replacement using the original fastener(s).
8. Re-fit the cover, engage the outer retaining clip and test the full movement of the visor.
9. Where a vanity light is fitted, test the light before completing the job.
