Compatible engine and trim families may include 1.1 petrol, 1.2 petrol, 1.3 Multijet diesel, 1.4 100HP, 4x4, Cross and Natural Power variants, but only where the vehicle has factory front electric windows and the same right-hand switch and connector. Engine size alone does not confirm fitment.

The switch sends the up/down command for the front-right electric window. On UK RHD cars, the right-hand switch operates the driver-side / OSF window. The same right-front component specification is catalogued for both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive applications.
COMMON FAULT SYMPTOMS
• Front-right window works intermittently
• Window responds only when the rocker is pressed hard or moved
• One direction works but the other does not

Approximate labour allowance: 0.25-0.50 hour. Diagnosis, seized trim, damaged wiring or previous repairs can increase the time.
1. Park safely, switch the ignition off and remove the key.
2. Follow the vehicle workshop procedure. Disconnect the negative battery terminal only where required, allowing for radio codes and stored settings.
3. Protect the surrounding centre-console trim with a clean cloth or tape.
4. Use a plastic trim tool to release the right-hand switch from the lower centre-console aperture. Do not lever aggressively against brittle trim.
5. Depress the connector locking tab and unplug the old switch without pulling on the wires.
6. Compare the old and replacement switch: right-hand position, face shape, clip profile, connector body and 4-pin specification.
7. Connect the replacement, test both up and down functions, then press the switch evenly into the trim until the clips seat.
8. Reconnect the battery where applicable and confirm normal window operation.
