DO NOT ASSUME FITMENT FOR:
• Kia Soul EV where the original motor/specification differs.
• Cars equipped with smart-key / different power-window electronics where 82450-B2000 is not listed for that configuration.
• Auto up/down variants where the original motor/electronics differ.
• Front-right/offside/driver door, either rear door, or any vehicle with a different label, plug or mounting arrangement.
• Earlier Soul Mk1 / AM or later Soul Mk3 / SK3 generations.
• Any Hyundai or other Kia model merely because a motor looks similar.
Other confirmed vehicles: None beyond the Kia Soul application above have been confirmed from the pictured
part numbers. We will not advertise speculative cross-fitment.
Where This Part Fits & What It Does
The regulator/module sits inside the front-left door, behind the interior door trim panel.
Its cable-and-rail mechanism guides the window glass up and down, while the electric motor supplies the drive.
The carrier plate also provides mounting points for associated door equipment. This sale is for the
pictured used assembly; use the photographs to confirm exactly which attached components are present.

Common Symptoms of a Faulty Window Regulator / Motor
✅ Window will not raise or lower
✅ Window moves intermittently or only in one direction
✅ Clicking, crunching, grinding or cable noise inside the door
✅ Glass drops, tilts, binds or sits unevenly in the frame
✅ Motor can be heard but the glass does not move correctly
✅ Window becomes unusually slow or needs assistance
✅ Glass is stuck open, creating weather and security concerns
Similar symptoms can also be caused by a switch, fuse, wiring, connector, control module or damaged glass channel.
Diagnose the fault before ordering wherever possible.
Why Choose a Used Original-Spec Part?
A correctly matched used factory-spec component retains the mounting geometry, connector type and operating design
intended for the vehicle. This can reduce the risk of problems caused by poorly matched low-cost copy parts, such as
incorrect mounting points, incompatible plugs, altered cable travel or inconsistent glass alignment.
Buying a quality used component also offers a strong value option. Across selected used car parts,
savings can be up to 70% compared with equivalent new replacement pricing; actual savings vary by part,
condition and current new-part price.
Fitting Guide — Typical Workshop Procedure
Important: This is a general guide, not a substitute for Kia workshop information.
Door-module equipment can include side-impact/SRS-related wiring or sensors. Disconnect the battery and follow the
manufacturer's workshop procedure before disturbing any SRS-related component.
1. Confirm the replacement part number, connector layout and vehicle VIN before dismantling.
2. Isolate the 12V battery in accordance with the workshop procedure.
3. Remove the front-left interior door trim and disconnect switch/door electrical connectors.
4. Support the window glass securely with approved glass-support tape or suction equipment.
5. Release the glass from the regulator carrier/clamps as specified by the workshop manual.
6. Disconnect the regulator motor and any carrier-mounted electrical components.
7. Remove the carrier/regulator fasteners and withdraw the assembly without stressing wiring or glass.
8. Transfer only the components required for your exact vehicle specification and install the replacement.
9. Reconnect all electrical plugs, seals and trim; torque fasteners to manufacturer specification.
10. Reconnect the battery, initialise the window function if required, and test travel, alignment, sealing and anti-pinch functions where fitted.
Typical Tools
Trim-removal tools • ratchet and metric socket set • screwdrivers/Torx bits as required • small pick •
torque wrench • window-glass support tape or suction cups • multimeter for diagnosis • gloves and eye protection.
Estimated Labour Time
Experienced technician: approximately 1.0–1.5 hours.
DIY / first-time repair: often 1.5–2.5 hours.
Rusted fasteners, trim damage, glass alignment, electrical diagnosis or transferred components can increase time.
