A complete pickup door is heavy and awkward. A two-person lift and professional bodyshop or experienced mechanic are strongly recommended.

1. Confirm the replacement door against the vehicle before dismantling: chassis/body, side, part number, handle type, connectors, glass, trim and paint code.
2. Record radio/security settings if required, switch the ignition off, disconnect the battery negative terminal and follow the vehicle workshop-manual waiting procedure before touching electrical or restraint-related circuits.
3. Protect the wing, A-pillar, sill and rear-door edge with covers and masking tape. Support the existing door using a padded door stand or suitable lifting support.
4. Remove the interior trim as required. Disconnect the door-to-body electrical connector, check strap and any accessible harness retainers. Photograph connector routing before removal.
5. Mark hinge positions for reference. With a second person supporting the weight, remove the hinge fasteners and lift the original door clear without damaging the cab aperture.
