WHERE THIS PART FITS AND WHAT IT CONTROLS
The steering wheel is mounted to the splined steering-column shaft directly in front of the driver. It transfers the driver's movement through the steering column to the vehicle's steering system.
The centre opening accepts the correctly matched airbag and horn-pad assembly from the compatible original installation. The airbag, horn pad and associated SRS components are not part of this sale.

FITTING INFORMATION
SRS AIRBAG SAFETY: Steering-wheel removal involves the airbag system.
Professional installation by a competent technician is strongly recommended. Incorrect handling can cause
airbag deployment, injury, warning lights or damage to the clock spring and connectors.
General fitting sequence
1. Park securely with the front wheels pointing straight ahead and remove the key.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait at least 10–15 minutes before disturbing SRS components.
3. Release the correctly matched airbag/horn pad through the rear access points using the approved procedure.
4. Do not test, probe or apply electrical power to airbag connectors.
5. Mark the relationship between the steering wheel and steering shaft before removal.
6. Disconnect the horn/SRS wiring and loosen the centre retaining fastener.
7. Leave the fastener partly engaged while initially freeing the wheel, then remove the wheel carefully.
8. Keep the clock spring centred and do not rotate it with the wheel removed.
9. Install the matching replacement wheel in the marked straight-ahead position.
10. Tighten the retaining fastener to the vehicle manufacturer's workshop specification.
11. Refit the airbag, reconnect the battery and check horn operation, steering alignment and the SRS warning light.

Battery-terminal spanner, suitable Torx or driver bits, ratchet and socket set, non-metallic trim tool,
alignment marker, calibrated torque wrench, steering-wheel puller if required and diagnostic equipment where necessary.
