This harness distributes electrical power and control signals between the vehicle body and equipment inside the front-right door. It is routed behind the door trim panel, secured by the original clips and passed through the flexible rubber gaiter at the hinge area.

Depending on the exact vehicle specification, circuits can include the front electric window, central locking and door latch, loudspeaker, door-open information and related door equipment. This version is associated with manual door mirrors; do not assume that it supports electric adjustment, heating or power-folding mirror equipment.

Engine size, fuel type, transmission and exterior colour are not sufficient fitment checks for a door loom. The printed number and complete connector arrangement are the key identifiers.

GENERAL FITTING GUIDE

1. Park safely, switch the ignition off, remove the key and open the relevant door.
2. Follow the manufacturer’s battery isolation procedure. Disconnect the negative terminal where appropriate and allow the specified discharge time before disturbing any safety-related connectors.
3. Protect the paint, sill and trim edges with suitable covers or low-tack protective tape.
4. Remove the door-handle trim, switch trim, fasteners and door card using the correct trim tools.
5. Photograph the original routing and the position of every clip before disconnecting the old loom.
6. Disconnect the body-side plug at the door jamb/A-pillar and unplug the window motor, latch, speaker and other fitted door equipment.
7. Release all retaining clips and carefully remove the rubber gaiter without damaging its sealing edges.
8. Place both looms side by side. Confirm 821510H390D, connector shapes, branch lengths, clip positions and wiring specification before installation.
9. Route the replacement exactly as the original, ensuring that no wiring is stretched, trapped, twisted or positioned against a sharp edge.
10. Seat the rubber gaiter and all grommets completely to reduce the risk of water entry.
11. Reconnect the electrical plugs, refit the trim and reconnect the battery using the correct procedure.
