This component forms the upper centre section of the dashboard. Its grille allows heating, ventilation and air-conditioning airflow to enter the passenger compartment while the outer panel provides the correct factory-shaped finish around the centre display area.

It is a passive mechanical component. It does not contain a motor, control unit, sensor, switch or wiring. Its function is to guide airflow, cover the dashboard opening and hold the correct visual alignment of the centre fascia.
