CRITICAL FITMENT CHECK BEFORE ORDERING This manifold is NOT suitable for every Toyota Yaris registered between 2011 and 2017. The primary confirmed application is the XP130 / NSP130 fitted with the 1.33 litre 1NR-FE four-cylinder petrol engine. Production date, engine code and part-number layout are more reliable than registration year alone. If you are unsure, message us through eBay before ordering and provide your registration or VIN details.

The manifold is fitted in the engine bay directly to the intake side of the cylinder head. It forms the air path between the throttle-body side of the intake system and the four cylinder inlet ports. Much of the manifold can be obscured by surrounding engine and intake components when viewed from above.

The five-door vehicle above is intentionally shown because it is a correct XP130 1.33 reference vehicle. Door count itself does not determine manifold compatibility: the important checks are the NSP130 model code, 1NR-FE engine, production date, manifold part number, port arrangement and connection layout.

EXACT PRIMARY FITMENT

Production dates below are vehicle BUILD periods, not simply the date shown on a registration document. A car registered in 2017 may have a different engine depending on its build date.
Vehicle Model / Chassis Engine Production Period Status
Toyota Yaris XP130 / P13 - NSP130 1.33 petrol 1NR-FE 08/2011 to 03/2017 PRIMARY FITMENT - verify part number and VIN

Important early-car note: for 08/2011 to 11/2011, the catalogue records 17120-47031 and shows 17120-47032 as its substitute for this application. From 11/2011 the catalogue directly lists 17120-47032.

Important 2017 note: the checked European 1NR-FE NSP130 production record runs only to 03/2017. Do not buy solely because the vehicle is described as a "2017 Yaris".

ADDITIONAL PART-NUMBER CROSS-FIT APPLICATIONS

The following applications use the same 17120-47032 catalogue number in the records checked. These are part-number cross-fits, not permission to order by vehicle name alone. VIN, engine code and original manifold layout should still be compared.

Vehicle Model Code Engine Checked Period Fitment Guidance
Toyota Auris NRE180 / E18 1.33 1NR-FE 10/2012 to 11/2018 model production 17120-47032 appears in the checked NRE180 1NR-FE catalogue. VIN confirmation strongly recommended.
Toyota Corolla NRE180 / E18 1.33 1NR-FE 06/2013 to 05/2016 directly confirmed 17120-47032 directly confirmed on the checked European manifold record. Later NRE180 cars should be VIN / part-number checked before ordering.
Toyota Verso-S NSP120 / P120 1.33 1NR-FE 11/2010 to 04/2015 Same 17120-47032 family application. Early catalogue records also show the 17120-47031 / 17120-47032 substitution relationship. VIN check recommended.
Cross-fitment is intentionally conservative. A generic search for 17120-47032 returns additional international Toyota models, but they have not been advertised here as guaranteed fits unless the model/engine/period relationship was sufficiently clear. This is designed to reduce incorrect orders.

CARS THIS PART SHOULD NOT BE ORDERED FOR

Vehicle / Engine Compatibility Reason
Yaris XP130 1.0 petrol - KSP130 / 1KR-FE DO NOT ORDER Different three-cylinder engine and manifold arrangement.
Yaris XP130 1.4 D-4D - NLP130 / 1ND-TV DO NOT ORDER Diesel engine uses a different intake system.
Yaris Hybrid - NHP130 / 1NZ-FXE DO NOT ORDER Different engine and hybrid powertrain application.
Yaris / Vitz 1.5 petrol variants DO NOT ORDER BY MODEL NAME Different engine families may use different manifolds. Match the exact engine and part number.
Previous-generation Yaris XP90 DO NOT ORDER Different vehicle generation unless a VIN-specific catalogue proves otherwise.
2020-on Yaris XP210 DO NOT ORDER Completely different vehicle / engine generation.
Auris / Corolla with engines other than 1NR-FE DO NOT ORDER BY MODEL NAME 1.6, 1.8, diesel, hybrid and other engine variants can use different manifolds.
A year match alone is NOT enough. If your existing manifold has a different number, different number of cylinder-head ports, different throttle flange, different vacuum fittings or different bracket arrangement, stop and confirm compatibility before ordering.

BUY THE CORRECT PART FIRST TIME - MATCHING CHECKLIST

1. ENGINE CODE Confirm 1NR-FE on the vehicle/VIN data. Do not rely only on "1.3" or "1.33".
2. PART NUMBER Look for 17120-47032 or a catalogue-confirmed related number on the original unit.
3. FOUR INTAKE PORTS Compare the four cylinder-head openings with the actual photographs above.
4. THROTTLE FLANGE Compare the round inlet flange and mounting-hole arrangement.
5. HOSES AND CONNECTIONS Match every vacuum connection, clip, bracket and electrical connection visible.
6. BUILD DATE / VIN Especially important for 2011 and 2017 vehicles at production change points.
UNSURE? Message ThePartPilot through eBay before purchase. We can help compare the VIN, engine code, original part number and photographs. Checking before ordering is much quicker than fitting the wrong component and arranging a return.

WHAT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD DOES

The intake manifold forms a controlled air passage from the throttle-body side of the engine to the four inlet ports in the cylinder head. Its runner and plenum geometry distributes metered intake air between the engine's four cylinders.

Correct port shape, mounting alignment, sealing surfaces, brackets and vacuum connections are important because unmetered air entering through a crack or failed seal can affect idle, mixture control and general engine operation.

A correctly matched original-manufacturer component retains the port geometry, runner volume, mounting positions and connection locations designed for the vehicle. Pattern replacement quality can vary between manufacturers, particularly in moulding tolerances, material, bracket positioning and sealing surfaces.

POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS OF A MANIFOLD OR MANIFOLD-SEAL FAULT

ROUGH IDLE Unmetered air entering through a crack or sealing fault can disturb idle mixture.
AIR / VACUUM HISS A split manifold, loose connection or sealing leak may produce an audible hiss.
ENGINE WARNING LIGHT A significant air leak can contribute to mixture-related diagnostic faults.
HESITATION Incorrect intake airflow can contribute to poor response or hesitation.
LEAN-MIXTURE SYMPTOMS A leak after airflow measurement can result in an unexpectedly lean mixture.
MISFIRE-LIKE RUNNING An intake leak affecting one or more cylinders can sometimes resemble an ignition fault.

These symptoms can also be caused by ignition, fuel, sensor, hose, throttle-body or other engine faults. Diagnose the vehicle before replacing parts.

WHY REUSE AN ORIGINAL-MANUFACTURER COMPONENT?

A serviceable recycled original-manufacturer manifold gives you the same basic factory-designed port layout, bolt positions, vacuum connection locations and engine interface as the corresponding vehicle application, while often costing substantially less than purchasing the equivalent component new.

Depending on the component, new-part availability and current market pricing, savings on recycled vehicle parts can in some cases approach 70 percent compared with buying new. Savings are not guaranteed, so compare current prices for the same part number when making your decision.

Reusing a serviceable component also keeps an existing part in circulation instead of discarding it prematurely and can reduce demand for an additional newly manufactured replacement.

FITTING GUIDE

This is a general fitting overview, not a substitute for the model-specific workshop procedure. Fastener tightening figures should be taken from the correct service information for your exact VIN / engine. Do not guess tightening torque.
STEP 1 - PREPARE THE VEHICLE: Park safely, switch the ignition off, allow the engine to cool and disconnect the battery where required by the workshop procedure.
STEP 2 - GAIN ACCESS: Remove the necessary engine cover, intake ducting and air-cleaner components required to reach the manifold and throttle-body area.
STEP 3 - IDENTIFY CONNECTIONS: Photograph or label vacuum hoses, wiring clips, electrical connectors and brackets before disconnecting them.
STEP 4 - DISCONNECT THE AIR PATH: Release the intake hose / throttle-body connections necessary for manifold removal. Protect open airways from contamination.
STEP 5 - REMOVE BRACKETS AND SUPPORTS: Remove manifold stays, harness clips and brackets in accordance with the vehicle workshop procedure.
STEP 6 - REMOVE MANIFOLD FASTENERS: Undo the manifold fasteners using the correct sequence and support the assembly as it is withdrawn.
STEP 7 - PROTECT THE ENGINE: Do not allow dirt, gasket debris, tools or fasteners to fall into the exposed cylinder-head intake ports.
STEP 8 - INSPECT AND CLEAN: Carefully clean the mating surface without damaging it. Inspect hoses, throttle-body sealing area and connections for cracks or damage.
STEP 9 - INSTALL WITH A SOUND SEAL: A new intake-manifold-to-head gasket is recommended. Catalogue reference for the main application is 17177-47011.
STEP 10 - REASSEMBLE AND TEST: Tighten fasteners to the correct manufacturer procedure, reconnect all hoses and wiring, then check idle quality, warning lights and the intake system for air leaks.

RETURNS - PLEASE MATCH BEFORE INSTALLATION

The current listing provides a 30-day return period. We strongly recommend carrying out the engine-code, part-number, VIN and photograph checks before installation.

A returned component should come back in the same condition in which it was supplied, with all included parts present and securely packaged. If a returned component has been installed, altered, contaminated, damaged, incompletely returned or otherwise suffers a loss in value, any refund adjustment will only be made where eBay's rules permit it and only to reflect the actual loss in value. Where the seller is eligible, eBay's rules can permit a deduction of up to 50 percent in qualifying circumstances.

The best way to avoid a return is to confirm the 1NR-FE engine, production date, original part number and physical connections before purchase. We are happy to assist through eBay Messages.
