This rear lamp assembly fits inside the left side of the tailgate. On the verified LHD/right-hand-traffic configuration it provides the rear fog-light function, helping the vehicle remain visible from behind in poor visibility. The assembly also seals the opening, holds the bulb carrier and connects the light circuit to the vehicle wiring.

FITTING GUIDE
Estimated time: approximately 20-40 minutes for a straightforward replacement. Allow longer for damaged trim, corrosion, wiring repairs or diagnosis.
- Park safely, switch off the lights and ignition, remove the key and open the tailgate.
- Protect painted surfaces and carefully remove the inner access cover/trim at the lamp position.
- Support the lamp, then remove the retaining nuts without dropping them inside the tailgate.
- Release the electrical connector without pulling on the wires.
- Withdraw the lamp and inspect the aperture, seal and wiring for water, corrosion or damage.
- Transfer only the correct bulb/holder parts if required, keeping contacts clean and dry.
- Position the replacement squarely, seat the foam seal evenly and reconnect the plug.
- Refit the nuts evenly and securely. Do not overtighten because the plastic housing can crack.
- Test the tail lighting and rear fog function, then check for warning messages.
- Refit the trim and confirm the lamp remains dry and correctly seated after washing or rain.
Lighting is safety-critical. Use a qualified technician when you are not confident, when wiring is damaged, or when fault diagnosis is required.
