This trim cover sits on the upper dashboard around/above the driver’s instrument cluster, commonly called the speedometer binnacle or clocks surround. It is visible from the driver’s seat and forms the curved top cover over the speedometer area.
What it controls
This is an interior trim piece, not an electronic control module. It does not control mileage, speed reading, warning lights or vehicle coding. Its job is to finish the dashboard neatly, support the visual surround of the clocks and help reduce glare around the gauge area.

- Check the replacement cover against the removed part: shape, tab locations, colour, texture and part numbers must match.
- Align the replacement carefully and press evenly until the locating tabs seat correctly.
- Check that the trim sits flush, does not foul the speedometer cluster and does not rattle.
