- Refit and tighten the housing cap to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
- Complete the oil change with the correct oil grade and quantity.
- Start the engine, check oil pressure and inspect carefully for leakage.
- Recheck the level after settling and reset the service indicator when appropriate.
