This is a factory-original rear tailgate boot lid locking actuator motor removed from a 2007 Citroen C1 MK1 Rhythm Hatchback. The boot locking actuator is responsible for electronically locking and unlocking the rear glass tailgate mechanism when triggered via key fob or central locking switch.
Where it is fitted & what it controls: Fitted inside the lower latch mechanism mounted on the rear glass boot lid assembly. It controls the mechanical locking pin that secures the rear glass hatch down into the rear bumper lock catch.
