The PTC electric cabin heater is an auxiliary air-heating element within the vehicle HVAC system. Its purpose is to improve early cabin warmth and help the ventilation system deliver warm air for passenger comfort and windscreen demisting. This is an electrical heater element and should not be confused with the conventional liquid coolant heater matrix.
