FIAT 500 2008-2019 Brake Master Cylinder Fluid Reservoir 32069666
FIAT 500 BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER & FLUID RESERVOIR
Do not order this component from the vehicle year or model name alone. Your existing master cylinder should show or cross-reference to 32069666 and the mounting flange, reservoir shape, hydraulic pipe outlets and electrical connection must match the actual item photographs.
These images show the component associated with this listing. Use these photographs as the primary visual reference when matching your existing part.

The brake master cylinder is located in the engine bay, mounted in the rear bulkhead / brake-servo area. The brake-fluid reservoir sits above the cylinder and hydraulic brake pipes connect to the master-cylinder body.
The master cylinder is one of the main hydraulic components of the braking system. When the brake pedal is pressed, mechanical pedal force is transferred into hydraulic pressure inside the braking circuit.
Hydraulic pressure is then transmitted through the brake lines to the braking components at the wheels.
The attached fluid reservoir stores the brake fluid required by the hydraulic circuit and allows for normal changes in fluid level.
Hydraulic outlet position, bore specification, mounting configuration, reservoir arrangement and braking-system design must be correct for the vehicle. Visual similarity alone is not enough.
| ⚠️ | Brake pedal gradually sinking while steady pedal pressure is held |
| ⚠️ | Excessive brake-pedal travel |
| ⚠️ | Soft or spongy brake pedal after other hydraulic faults have been ruled out |
| ⚠️ | Brake fluid leakage around the master-cylinder / brake-servo area |
| ⚠️ | Unexplained reduction in brake-fluid level |
| ⚠️ | Reduced or inconsistent braking response |
Similar symptoms can be caused by other braking-system faults. Any loss of braking performance, fluid leakage or abnormal pedal behaviour should be investigated before the vehicle is driven normally.
A correctly matched manufacturer-marked component was designed around the vehicle's original packaging, mounting arrangement, hydraulic connections and intended braking-system specification.
Low-cost copy components can differ in machining, materials, seals, tolerances and connection details. For a safety-critical braking component, correct specification and accurate fitment are especially important.
Recycled original-fit vehicle parts can provide a significant saving against purchasing brand-new components. Depending on the component and current new-part price, savings can sometimes reach approximately 70%.
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The information below is a general fitting overview only. Vehicle-specific repair information and torque specifications should be followed.
| 1 | Secure the vehicle on level ground, switch the ignition off and protect painted surfaces from brake fluid. |
| 2 | Remove excess brake fluid from the reservoir using suitable clean extraction equipment. |
| 3 | Disconnect the reservoir fluid-level sensor connection where applicable. |
| 4 | Identify the hydraulic pipes and release them carefully with suitable brake-line spanners. |
| 5 | Cap exposed hydraulic connections to reduce contamination and fluid loss. |
| 6 | Remove the master-cylinder retaining hardware and withdraw the cylinder from the brake servo. |
| 7 | Compare the removed component with this replacement before installation. |
| 8 | Prime or bench-bleed the cylinder where required by the appropriate repair procedure. |
| 9 | Install the component and tighten fasteners and hydraulic connections using vehicle-specific specifications. |
| 10 | Refill using the correct brake-fluid specification and fully bleed the braking system. |
| 11 | Where air enters an ABS hydraulic unit, suitable diagnostic equipment may be required for the bleed procedure. |
| 12 | Check for leaks, verify firm pedal operation and confirm safe braking performance before normal road use. |
| 🔧 Metric socket & ratchet set | 🔩 Brake-line / flare-nut spanners |
| 📏 Calibrated torque wrench | 🧴 Brake-fluid extraction tool |

| 🧢 Hydraulic line plugs / caps | 💻 Diagnostic equipment where required |
| 🧤 Gloves & eye protection | 🧽 Brake-fluid-safe cleaning equipment |
Typical planning allowance: approximately 1.0–2.0 labour hours. Actual time depends on access, corrosion, hydraulic pipe condition, bleeding requirements and whether ABS diagnostic bleeding is required.
