1. Confirm your vehicle is a 2006-2012 CR-V MK3 / third-generation RE-series 5-door. For 2006 vehicles, exclude the older MK2 / RD shape; for 2012 vehicles, exclude the later MK4 shape.
2. Stand facing forward and confirm you need the UK passenger-side / nearside front door.
3. Compare the chrome finish, smooth end cap, overall length, pivot frame, spring, clips and mounting points with every actual-item photograph.

Outline procedure

1. Park safely, switch off the ignition and raise the window fully. Protect the paint and trim.
2. Remove the inner pull-handle and switch-panel covers, then remove the relevant screws.
3. Release the door-card clips with a trim tool, lift the panel upward and disconnect any plugs.
4. Peel back the moisture membrane carefully without tearing it.
5. Through the access openings, release the handle linkage/cable retainer and remove the handle fastener.
6. Slide and withdraw the old outer handle and cap without forcing the painted door skin.
7. Transfer only serviceable seals or retainers where required, fit the replacement and reconnect the linkage securely.
8. Test outside opening, inside opening, locking and handle return before refitting the membrane and door card.
