Brief Instructions: Safety First! Prop the tailgate open securely with a piece of wood or have an assistant hold it up, as the boot will fall once the first strut is removed. Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry up the metal retaining clip on each end of the old strut. Pull the strut off the ball studs. Press the new struts firmly onto the ball studs until the retaining clips snap back into place. Test the operation.
