WHERE THIS PART FITS & WHAT IT DOES

The glove-box assembly mounts into the passenger side of the dashboard. It provides the enclosed dashboard storage compartment and incorporates the opening lid, latch interface, hinges and surrounding moulded structure.

On the Pulsar C13 the area behind the glove compartment also provides access to other dashboard/HVAC components, including the cabin-filter area. Correct alignment is therefore important so that the glove-box lid closes squarely and does not foul surrounding dashboard trim.

FITTING GUIDE

General fitting procedure

1. Park the vehicle securely, switch the ignition off and remove the key.
2. Open the passenger door and protect adjacent dashboard and sill trim.
3. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
4. Carefully release surrounding trim panels using a plastic trim tool where necessary.
5. Remove the glove-box retaining screws / fasteners.
6. Support the assembly as the final fasteners are removed.
7. Disconnect any fitted glove-box lamp or related connector before fully withdrawing the assembly.
8. Compare replacement and original mounting tabs, latch and hinge locations side by side.
9. Install the replacement assembly without forcing any plastic tabs.
10. Reconnect any electrical connection removed during dismantling.
11. Refit fasteners evenly and avoid overtightening into plastic mounts.
12. Check the lid opens, closes and latches correctly before reinstalling all surrounding trim.
