The interior rear-view mirror sits at the upper centre of the windscreen and is positioned so the driver can observe the road and traffic behind the vehicle through the rear window.

This particular design uses a manual day/night dip lever. Moving the lever changes the reflective viewing angle so glare from following headlights can be reduced during night driving.

A correctly matched original-application component gives you the housing proportions, pivot arrangement, mirror field of view and mounting geometry designed around the vehicle's original installation.

3. If fitted, carefully remove any surrounding cosmetic trim/shroud using a trim-safe plastic tool. Do not force clips.
4. Support the existing mirror while releasing it from the windscreen-mounted boss using the correct controlled movement for the installed mount.
5. Do not lever against the windscreen glass and do not attempt to remove the bonded windscreen boss.
6. Align the replacement mirror mount accurately with the existing windscreen boss. Engage it smoothly by hand. If it does not locate correctly, stop rather than applying excessive force.
7. Refit any surrounding trim.
8. Adjust the mirror through its normal range, confirm the pivot remains secure and test the manual day/night lever.
9. Carry out a final visibility and security check before driving.
