WHERE IT FITS & WHAT IT CONTROLS
This assembly mounts below the centre-console trim between the front seats. The driver moves the lever through the selector gate; the lever mechanism transfers that movement to the gearbox through two selector cables. One cable generally controls fore/aft engagement while the other controls side-to-side gate selection.
