What This Part Does
This outer rear door handle sits on the outside of the rear right door. When pulled, it moves the metal rod/linkage and spring-loaded handle mechanism to release the rear door latch.
It controls the physical opening action of the door from the outside. It does not replace the door latch module, central locking actuator, wiring, interior handle, key barrel or alarm system. If your central locking does not operate but the handle still opens the door, diagnose the lock/latch actuator before ordering.
